Nox Icon Pack

Kovdev is a legend when it comes to icon packs. With tens of thousands of icons made, Kovdev has released a new icon pack called Nox. It is hands down my favorite and well worth the money. My favorite icon pack to date, and maybe, of all time.

Timetable

If you are a student like me, you need to keep track of a lot of things and that is what Timetable is for. You can plan out your entire semester, figure out your schedule, and keep track of assignments. I definitely recommend this app for students.

Pocket

Pocket is one of my favorite apps to use. The service is simple, save an article to Pocket and you can read it later. This helps me when I am at work and I see an article I want to read but don't have the time, I'll just save it to Pocket and read it later! Also, I included the Chome Extension and Chrome App as well!

Yahoo! Weather

Yahoo! Weather is an app that started out on iOS only, and just came to Android a couple days ago. The UI could be refined to adapt to Android guidelines, but the app is stunning nonetheless. Flickr integration gives you different pictures depending on which location you are researching. The widget is also very polished too. I'm a sucker for a good UI, and this app delivers.

Motorola DROID RAZR M

At first glance, the RAZR M looks like a mediocre device. And, personally, some of the included software makes it want to act like a mediocre device, but after obtaining official CyanogenMod support, my RAZR M has been great. (CyaogenMod is an after-market Android operating system, more info about it here: http://www.cyanogenmod.org/. I am running the nightlies, so it is buggy here and there, but it is MUCH smoother than the included software on the device. It is not the best phone I have ever had, and I don't think I have had a phone like that yet, but it will definitely make me able to wait longer for a Moto X. I would love a Nexus device, but since I am on Verizon, there is a good chance that won't happen.

Nexus 7 (2012)

I really do love my Nexus 7. Yeah, I would love to get the 2013 Nexus 7, and I might not shy away from the possibility just yet, but my Nexus 7 is treating me very well. After the 4.3 update that cleaned up some things and included various under the hood optimizations, it gave it new life. I use it primarily for media consumption and gaming. My favorite apps (for now) are Pocket, rymdkapsel, YouTube, and Google+. In the Android tablet game, you cannot go wrong with the Nexus 7.

The Chromebook Pixel

The Chromebook PIxel is the best device I have ever owned. Better than all of the phones I have had, the tablets, and even some laptops; the Chromebook Pixel is truly my favorite device ever. I actually created this website and is managing it all on my Pixel. Chrome OS is not just the Google Chrome browser, it is a very polished operating system. My mom also has the Samsung Chromebook and she loves it too. I will be using my Pixel for school as well and I can't wait to show off its amazing display, top notch keyboard and speakers, and stunning build quality. There is nothing I do not like about this device. I would take some more battery, as I would say the same thing with everything else I have, but I still love this piece of Google hardware and It will only get better with time as Google updates Chrome OS.

Chromecast

The Chromecast, why don't you have one again? At $35, the Chromecast should be an insta-buy. It is truly amazing that you can just sit on your couch and play your favorite movies, music, YouTube videos, and more! I watched Google's event showcasing the Chromecast for the first time and I was sold on it from the beginning. Here is what is awesome about it, it can turn any "ordinary" TV into a smart TV! It can save you hundreds of dollars when purchasing your next TV because you would just add $35 to the price of that TV you are looking at and there you have it, you own a smart TV. The Chromecast is super easy to set up and get going. I use it in the main level of my apartment and my roommates are obsessed with it. It is truly a game changer when it comes to getting content onto your television.
